 BODYBAR Franchising is hiring a detail-oriented Compliance Administrator to help ensure legal and operational compliance across its franchise network. Reporting to the CEO, this role manages key contracts, assists with document reviews and filings, and liaises with internal teams and regulators. Strong organizational skills, franchise and contract law knowledge, and a focus on accuracy and risk mitigation are essential to success in this role.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Contract Management & Support
  • Compile, review, organize, and maintain franchise agreements, amendments, and other legal documents.
  • Assist with due diligence and support the execution of new franchise agreements.
  • Monitor and document franchisee compliance with contractual obligations, including leases, reporting, insurance, and business licenses.
Compliance Monitoring & Risk Management
  • Implement and monitor systems that ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Identify and assess compliance risks across franchise operations and support appropriate corrective actions.
  • Track compliance-related metrics and maintain detailed records of audits, filings, and legal obligations.
  • Investigate territory encroachments and report findings to Franchise Development and Legal.
Governance & Regulatory Filings
  • Support corporate governance efforts by maintaining accurate and timely internal records.
  • Coordinate and assist with corporate registrations, state filings, and compliance reporting to governing agencies.
  • Maintain familiarity with evolving franchise regulations and ensure company policies remain current and enforceable.
  • Participate in the preparation of Franchise Disclosure Documents (FDDs) and updates.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Support
  • Collaborate with Franchise Development, Legal, and Operations teams to maintain alignment on compliance matters.
  • Communicate deadlines, outstanding items, and risks to relevant HQ stakeholders.
Operational & Project Management
  • Develop and maintain administrative SOPs for contract and compliance workflows.
  • Support special projects related to regulatory readiness, legal systems implementation, or policy updates.
  • Assist in vendor onboarding processes as they relate to franchisee compliance requirements.
  • Track compliance deadlines, renewals, and legal triggers using internal systems and tools
Additional Responsibilities and Support
  • Assist with other special projects or tasks on an as needed basis.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Legal Studies, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in compliance, contract administration, or a similar field.
  • 2+ years experience working in a corporate franchise environment
  • Familiarity with franchise law, regulatory frameworks, and industry best practices.
  • Experience supporting legal reviews, audits, or corporate filings.
  • Familiarity with disclosure documents, insurance verification, and contract execution processes.
  • Prior experience working in the boutique fitness space is a plus.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Capable of managing sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Comfortable working independently while also collaborating across departments.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, document management systems, and compliance tracking tools.
  • Ability to adapt to evolving regulatory environments and franchise system needs.
  • A collaborative, solutions-oriented mindset with a passion for operational excellence.
