Position Overview

BODYBAR is seeking a motivated, relationship-driven Lead Sales Associate to help drive the growth and success of our studio.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, people-focused environment and enjoys creating exceptional experiences while working toward ambitious sales and retention goals. The Lead Sales Associate will play an integral role in growing our membership community, strengthening member relationships, supporting studio events and initiatives, and developing our sales team.

This is a hands-on leadership position that combines sales, hospitality, community engagement, and day-to-day studio operations.

Key Responsibilities

Membership Sales & Studio Growth

  • Drive new membership sales by building relationships with prospects and confidently communicating the value of the BODYBAR experience.
  • Follow up consistently with leads, first-time guests, and prospective members through phone, text, email, and in-studio conversations.
  • Convert introductory offers and trial clients into long-term members.
  • Support studio sales goals, promotions, and membership campaigns.
  • Identify opportunities to generate new leads through referrals, partnerships, events, and community outreach.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of memberships, class packages, promotions, and studio offerings.
Member Retention & Experience

  • Build genuine relationships with members and create an elevated, welcoming studio experience.
  • Proactively engage with members to increase satisfaction, attendance, and long-term retention.
  • Follow up with members who have decreased attendance or may be at risk of canceling.
  • Assist with membership questions, concerns, freezes, cancellations, and other account needs with professionalism and care.
  • Help create a studio environment where members feel recognized, connected, and valued.
Events & Community Engagement

  • Coordinate and execute studio events, member appreciation initiatives, open houses, pop-ups, partnerships, and community activations.
  • Help develop creative opportunities to increase studio awareness, generate leads, and strengthen the BODYBAR community.
  • Build and maintain relationships with local businesses and community partners.
  • Assist with event promotion, guest communication, setup, execution, and follow-up.
Sales Team Leadership & Training

  • Assist with onboarding and training new Sales Associates.
  • Coach team members on sales conversations, lead follow-up, hospitality standards, studio procedures, and membership offerings.
  • Serve as a resource and positive example for the sales team.
  • Help ensure consistent execution of studio sales processes and customer service standards.
  • Provide ongoing feedback and support to help Sales Associates grow and succeed.
Boutique & Studio Operations

  • Assist with merchandising, inventory management, and sales of boutique apparel and retail products.
  • Maintain an elevated, organized, and visually appealing boutique and front-of-studio environment.
  • Support opening and closing procedures and daily studio operations.
  • Assist with scheduling, administrative responsibilities, member accounts, and other operational needs as assigned.
  • Work closely with studio leadership to identify opportunities for improved sales, service, and studio performance.

Previous experience in sales, boutique fitness, hospitality, retail, customer service, or team leadership is strongly preferred.

Schedule Expectations

This is a full-time position averaging 30–35 hours per week.

Candidates must have flexible availability and be able to work evenings and weekends, as these are key times for studio operations, member engagement, and events.

Compensation: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
