Who We Are

BODYBAR Pilates is more than an elevated, Reformer Pilates experience. We are a community built on intentionality, connection, and personal growth.

This fall, BODYBAR Pilates will open its doors in Lee's Summit's highly anticipated Discovery Park development. Located within a wellness-focused building alongside other health and wellness providers, our studio will be part of a vibrant destination designed to help people feel their best and live well.

At BODYBAR, we believe every interaction matters. From the first inquiry to the hundredth class, we are committed to creating an elevated and intentional experience that leaves every member feeling welcomed, supported, and valued.

While our studio is scheduled to open in October, we are building our team now. We are seeking individuals who are excited to engage with the community, attend local events, connect with prospective members, and begin building meaningful relationships that will serve as the foundation of our studio long before opening day.

About the Role

As a Sales Associate, you will be one of the first faces of BODYBAR Lee's Summit and play an important role in shaping the experience our members and guests receive.

This position is about far more than memberships and transactions. It is about creating connections, building trust, and delivering excellence at every touchpoint. We are looking for individuals who genuinely enjoy working with people, possess strong attention to detail, and take pride in creating thoughtful, elevated experiences.

This is a part-time position with flexible scheduling and opportunities for growth within our organization.

Key Responsibilities

Create an elevated, intentional, welcoming, and professional environment for all members and guests
Build authentic relationships with prospective and current members through meaningful communication and exceptional service
Guide prospective members through the membership process with confidence, professionalism, and care
Follow up with leads through phone calls, text messages, and email communication
Assist members with class bookings, account questions, and studio needs
Maintain accurate records and attention to detail within studio systems and software
Support studio events, community outreach initiatives, and local partnerships
Help maintain a clean, organized, and polished studio environment
Celebrate member milestones and contribute to a positive, encouraging studio culture
Serve as a brand ambassador for BODYBAR both inside and outside the studio

What We're Looking For

A genuine passion for helping others and creating exceptional experiences
Outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
Professional, dependable, and punctual
Excellent communication skills in person, by phone, and through written correspondence
A positive attitude and enthusiasm for building relationships
Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
Passion for health, wellness, and community engagement
Previous experience in hospitality, customer service, retail, sales, fitness, or a related field is preferred
High school diploma or equivalent required
