Who We Are

BODYBAR Pilates La Costa and Vista are two high-performing studios in North County San Diego, built on strong programming, consistency, and an elevated member experience. We focus on athletic, results-driven Pilates while creating a space that feels welcoming, motivating, and community-driven. Our team holds a high standard for both the class experience and how we show up for our members and each other.

Who We’re Looking For

The Fitness Operations Manager plays a key role in supporting the day-to-day execution of the fitness program across two studios. This role partners closely with studio leadership to ensure a consistent, high-quality class experience, strong instructor performance, and an organized, well-run schedule.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys both teaching and operations—someone who is detail-oriented, reliable, and takes pride in maintaining a high standard across all aspects of the studio.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Deliver strong class experiences by teaching 3–6 BODYBAR Pilates classes per week with consistency, professionalism, and energy.
  • Support instructor performance by helping maintain accountability around scheduling, preparedness, and overall class quality.
  • Own the class schedule by managing instructor availability, ensuring coverage, and supporting adjustments based on studio demand.
  • Drive operational excellence by monitoring class performance and supporting data-informed decisions that improve utilization and consistency.
  • Support recruiting and onboarding by assisting with instructor hiring, integration, and ongoing team support.
  • Partner with leadership on key initiatives including workshops, instructor evaluations, and community events.
  • Maintain studio readiness by supporting equipment upkeep and ensuring the studio environment meets BODYBAR standards.
  • Foster a strong studio community by engaging with members before and after class and contributing to a positive, welcoming environment.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

  •  Minimum of 3-5 years in the fitness industry, with leadership or management experience
  •  Confident using Google Workspace and quick to learn new tech
  •  Detail-oriented and highly organized
  •  Strong communicator—both verbal and written
  •  Reliable, proactive, and team-oriented
  •  Passionate about fitness, Pilates, and creating a strong member experience
Training Program: Training is required to learn the BODYBAR Method.
