BODYBAR Pilates is a fitness boutique franchise that teaches Pilates using the BODYBAR method in multiple locations across the United States. We focus on bringing a spirit of CHEER to all we do as well as to be the industry standard in the way we deliver our classes. We are always looking for dedicated and positive individuals who are passionate about health and wellness to join our team!
The BODYBAR Lead Instructor is supervised by and reports to the Fitness Manager. The successful candidate possesses a dynamic personality with excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail, leadership or management experience, willingness to substitute for the team and pickup/adjust weekly schedule as needed. As a member of the BODYBAR team, this person will have a particular passion for serving others and will ensure a positive fitness experience for all BODYBAR clients.
- Cultivate and demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of BODYBAR’s method, mission, vision, and goals
- Design and instruct Pilates-based group fitness classes, according to the BODYBAR teaching formula, that are safe and effective for clients of all fitness levels
- Educate participants on proper and safe exercise form
- Respond to client questions regarding, but not limited to, the following: special movement considerations, studio policies and promotions
- All teachers are responsible for securing subs for all assigned classes in a timely manner. Any classes not subbed remain the responsibility of the teacher
- The Lead instructor will be responsible for subbing in the event a sub cannot be found or emergencies
- Must be able to work as early as 4:30am and late as 8:30pm
- Must take class 1-2 times a week
- Create community at the studio through engagement with members before, during, and after class
- Assist Fitness Manager with onboarding and test outs of new instructors
- Assist in Quality Checks as requested by Fitness Manager
- Assist with cleaning and maintaining studio equipment
- Must be available to work at both the Estero and North Naples locations
- Assist Fitness Manager as needed
- A passion for health, fitness, and exercise
- Strong communication skills
- Knowledge of basic anatomy
- Prior Pilates/fitness experience required
- Management and/or leadership experience
- Complete the Comprehensive BODYBAR Pilates Instructor Training Program, including passing each apparatus test-out
