About BODYBAR Pilates
BODYBAR Pilates is a nationally recognized boutique fitness franchise delivering dynamic, results-driven Pilates through the signature BODYBAR Method. All studios operate under established brand standards, systems, and programming, while maintaining strong local community connections.

As a franchise organization, BODYBAR prioritizes consistency, operational excellence, and leadership development to ensure every studio delivers a best-in-class member experience.

The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly reliable, motivated, self-starting Fitness Manager to lead the fitness function within a franchise-owned, in-studio environment. This role requires a leader who is deeply engaged on the studio floor—teaching, coaching, mentoring, and connecting with members—while ensuring all programming and operations align with BODYBAR brand standards.

As the franchise grows, this position offers the opportunity to take on expanded oversight across multiple locations, helping to train leaders, standardize systems, and support new studio openings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach 12–15 BODYBAR Pilates classes per week, modeling brand standards, class excellence, and member engagement
  • Recruit, onboard, train, and develop instructors in alignment with BODYBAR franchise systems and programming guidelines
  • Ensure consistent execution of the BODYBAR Method across all classes and instructors
  • Own and manage the class schedule to meet member demand, support instructor development, and optimize studio performance
  • Serve as the in-studio culture leader, delivering a service-driven, welcoming, and professional member experience
  • Partner with the Franchise Owner and Studio Manager to support sales initiatives, local partnerships, and community outreach
  • Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) related to utilization, retention, instructor performance, and class quality
  • Oversee equipment readiness, maintenance coordination, and issue resolution to support safe and seamless operations
  • Actively engage with members before, during, and after classes to strengthen relationships and community loyalty
  • Support franchise growth by contributing to scalable best practices, assisting with instructor training, and participating in new studio openings as needed

Qualifications & Leadership Profile

  • Must have pilates instruction experience (pilates certification)
  • 2+ years in a leadership or management role
  • Demonstrated reliability, accountability, and consistency in execution
  • A proactive self-starter who takes initiative and operates effectively in a franchise environment
  • Highly motivated, results-driven, and growth-oriented
  • Experience leading teams while maintaining compliance with brand standards and systems
  • Strong operational skills, including scheduling, performance tracking, and process adherence
  • Comfortable using Google Workspace and adapting to franchise technology platforms
  • Strong communicator with the ability to lead, coach, and influence others
  • Community-minded leader who builds trust, engagement, and long-term relationships
  • Professional presence with the ability to lead by example
