GENERAL SUMMARY

The BODYBAR Pilates Genera Manager (GM) is responsible for managing overall performance and operation of the studio including achieving sales targets through management of studio staff and membership operations. This individual is responsible for the implementation of the studio’s sales process and member retention strategies, trains and manages the sales and instructor teams, and serves as the face of the brand both in and out of the studio. The role requires someone with sales, management, and leadership experience. Boutique fitness experience is a plus. This is a full time salaried position.

- Achieve monthly revenue targets through implementation of BODYBAR sales process designed to preserve monthly membership draft

- Preserve product mix and established monthly rates; collect any outstanding dues

- Track and grow studio performance using KPIs

- Ensure excellence of customer service and member experience

- Implement member retention strategies monthly to increase loyalty and drive referrals

- Self-generate leads via grassroots marketing, scheduling and participating in community events, fostering partnership opportunities, and member referrals

- Meet with digital marketing vendor to coordinate new opportunities and offerings to drive leads and sales

- Plan and execute employee events two times per year

- Recruit, train, schedule and supervise sales staff

- Evaluate performance of sales staff and instruct on methods of improvement

- Coordinate with retail vendors to ensure retail products are stocked and merchandised to brand standards

- Enforce all policies and procedures

- Handle membership complaints, cancellations and credit card disputes

- Manage employee conflicts and complaints

- Maintain studio cleanliness and organization

- Manage inventory and organization of all administrative supplies and forms

- Create community at the studio through engagement with members before and after class

- Hire and manage the instructor team (recruitment, hiring, onboarding, scheduling)

- Manage studio programming and instructor placement.

- Oversee and work with Fitness Manager/Fitness Admin on events, feedback, maintenance needs

- Manage social media according to specific activity requirements as defined by owner, engage staff to consistently participate in
activity.

- Manage bi – weekly payroll.

- Any other duties assigned

- Must be able to work evenings and weekends

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS

· 2+ years of fitness and or membership sales experience a must

· Previous management or supervisory experience required

· Target-driven with a proven track record in achieving sales quotas and managing team

· Adept in self-generating leads via community events, partnerships, and referrals

· Ability to drive multiple revenue streams (memberships, retail, etc.)

· Excellent communication skills in-person, via phone and email

· Highly organized; able to prioritize and meet deadlines

· Results oriented

· Strong attention to detail

· Professional, trustworthy, and punctual

· Proficient with client management software

· College degree preferred

· Passionate about fitness

Compensation: $66,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
